About The Tides Market

The Tides Seafood Market & Provisions is a specialty market and eatery, focusing on thoughtfully sourced seafood, meat, produce, pantry items and more.

The Tides Market is a seafood market in Safety Harbor, Florida. It is listed at 305 Main St, Safety Harbor, FL 34695, which places it among the local businesses of Safety Harbor that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as butcher shop, grocery store, restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 AM–9 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Safety Harbor is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Safety Harbor follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place is simply incredible! We were greeted by their warm manager GiGi, and our server Amber. I could tell how much the staff enjoyed working at the market, which is always a really nice feeling when you sit down somewhere to eat. Half market filled with incredible goodies, like cheeses, fruit, high quality sunscreen, and so much more. I’d be in there every day if I lived nearby. My boyfriend and I shared their crab cake, and had the Pompano(market fish) sandwich. The bar has been reset for fish sandwiches. The crab cake is also how I want to feel eating all crab cakes moving forward. We can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu, plus their fun cocktails. Thanks for the hospitality! Highly recommend this now Michelin rated restaurant!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! This place is hands down my favorite restaurant in all of Pinellas, and I've brought a bunch of people here, every single one of them has fallen in love with it too. The blackened grouper sandwich is truly the best grouper sandwich in Tampa bay. I get it almost every time, if I am not getting the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. And the oysters, I genuinely don't think there's anywhere else in Tampa Bay where you can get $1 cold water oysters that are up to the quality that the Tides offers.. That alone is worth the trip, but it's really the whole experience that keeps me coming back and wanting to bring more friends. And it's not just the restaurant side. Shopping their market is an experience in itself. I've brought home fish, steaks, ground beef, sauces, and so much more, all of it top quality. It's the kind of place where you come in for lunch and leave with dinner for the rest of the week too. Not to mention the recent announcement, hand crafted cocktails! The restaurant was already amazing with their beer and wine offerings, but now adding a full cocktail menu has really made it even better. The owners, Jon and MK, are two of the most amazing p

We’ve passed Tides a few times and it always looked packed, forcing us to keep going. Today we stopped and they had room for us and I’m glad we did as we got a table immediately. Walking through the restaurant to the patio I was thoroughly impressed. Our server Amy introduced herself and was amazing and personal. We ordered two appetizers which were fresh and delicious as well as using local seafood. My wife got the shrimp poke bowl and I got the grilled shrimp plate with orzo salad, both were amazing. Highly recommend and we will be back for some of the best seafood I’ve had in a long time.

WOW! All caps. Food and service was out of this world. We had the happy hour oysters, blackened yellowtail, and the shrimp and crawfish pasta. Flavors were perfectly balanced. Seafood was very fresh. The amazing server Mike brought our two year old an entire coloring book. He was super personable and all around great. This is the kind of restaurant you can’t wait to come back and try everything off the menu.

Get up and go now if they are open. This place is absolutely wonderful. The hospitality is top notch and everyone is friendly. I took my parents out for Mother's Day lunch and it was well worth the drive. The Tides is a seafood market, restaurant, and store. When you enter there isn't a smell of seafood. The air is fresh and clean. When you are seated I suggest that you watch the orders that are coming to other tables before you decide. You will want to order everything. The food looks exactly like the pictures online. We ordered the trio dip, beet goat cheese honeycomb salad, shrimp poboy, grouper bite poboy, oyster poboy, and lemon creme brulee. Give me a moment, just the thought is making me drool. No complaints could ever be made. Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh. Once you're done you can meander around the shop or walk the street and enjoy other local shoppes. You won't regret this spot.
